OutreachSheet vs YAMM: one payment or a yearly plan?

YAMM is a Google Sheets mail merge add-on, free for 20 recipients a day, then billed yearly per user. OutreachSheet is a Google Sheet with follow-ups, bought once.

Written by the maker of OutreachSheet, so read it with that in mind. YAMM details come from yamm.com/pricing on 18 October 2026, in US dollars as shown; YAMM says prices vary by billing country. Check the vendor's page before you buy.

The short answer

Choose YAMM if you want open and click tracking, attachments, Gmail templates, or a free tier for small sends. Choose OutreachSheet if you want a written sequence by language, replies sorted into groups, and one payment.

What it costs over two years

Two years of YAMM Pro is 2 × US$72 = US$144 on a gmail.com account, or 2 × US$144 = US$288 on Google Workspace, for one user. OutreachSheet Do it yourself is a single £29 at launch or £49 after, with free fixes to version 1. YAMM prices are in USD and ours are in GBP, so this is not a currency-converted comparison.

Who should choose OutreachSheet

  • One person or a small business sending cold outreach from one Gmail or Workspace account.
  • You write to several countries and want each person's own language from one list.
  • You want follow-ups that run on a schedule and stop on a reply, with no tracking pixels, for one payment.

Who should choose YAMM

  • You send newsletters, invites or notices more than cold outreach, and want open and click numbers.
  • You need personalised attachments or Gmail layouts.
  • You send fewer than 20 recipients a day and want it free.

What OutreachSheet does not do

It sends from a single Google account, so Gmail and Google Apps Script sending limits apply (Google’s quotas). It has no open or click tracking, no shared team inbox, and no mailbox warm-up service. Google shows an “unverified app” warning when you first authorise your own copy, because the script runs in your account; the setup guide shows each screen.
