OutreachSheet vs Instantly: which fits your outreach?

If you already have a contact list and want personal outreach from one Gmail account, OutreachSheet gives you the sending, follow-ups and reply sorting for one payment. Choose Instantly when running campaigns across several mailboxes is part of the job.

Why buy OutreachSheet instead of another subscription?

You do not need to run a sales operation across a fleet of inboxes to need automatic follow-ups. A consultant chasing proposals, an event team approaching sponsors, a recruiter contacting candidates or a small business finding stockists may already have the list, the offer and a Gmail account. OutreachSheet puts that workflow in a Google Sheet you own.

  • No recurring OutreachSheet fee. Buy the full sheet once. Keep using that copy without renewing a software plan.
  • Work where your list already lives. Keep contacts, templates, sending records and reply categories in your Google account.
  • A focused setup. Copy the sheet, authorise it, answer four questions and send yourself a test. There is no separate outreach dashboard to learn.
  • Cold or warm outreach, in one language or several. The same workflow handles new introductions and follow-ups to people you already know. Country-based language selection is there when you need it.

Where the work happens

OutreachSheet
Your Google Sheet → bound Apps Script → your Gmail account. The script runs as you, with Google’s permissions and limits.
Instantly
Instantly campaign dashboard → connected sending accounts → recipients. You manage contacts, sequences and account rotation in its hosted platform.

That changes who runs the campaign and where you manage it. OutreachSheet has no separate campaign server to upload your prospect list to. Your list, templates, replies and logs are stored in your Google account and processed by Google services. Google hosts the script and processes the email, so your existing Google account remains the home for your campaign.

Instantly’s uploaded-contact cap is across campaigns, not a fresh allowance each month. Its pricing page has conflicting Hypergrowth labels and some volume figures between sections; the figures above use its plans-overview article. Confirm the current checkout terms before choosing a plan.

What the recurring bill adds up to

At monthly billing, twelve months of Instantly Growth is US$564; Hypergrowth is US$1,164. Over three years, that is US$1,692 or US$3,492, assuming unchanged prices. Yearly billing may reduce those totals.

OutreachSheet Do it yourself is £29 once at launch, or £49 after the first 50 buyers. Guided setup is £79 (£99 afterwards); Ready to send is £129 (£149 afterwards). Every package includes the same full sheet. The difference is how much personal help you want.

Prices are shown in their original currencies. Instantly’s subscription includes broader campaign infrastructure. Mailbox and domain costs, Google Workspace charges and any lead-data services are separate from these software figures.

Sending from Gmail: what matters

OutreachSheet sends plain email from your Gmail account using Apps Script and the Gmail API, with no open-tracking pixel. You choose working hours and daily limits. Domain checks help you spot missing SPF, DKIM and DMARC records before starting.

Using Gmail’s API is not exclusive to OutreachSheet and does not guarantee an inbox placement or a reply. Choose the workflow for its control and simplicity. For follow-ups, read the Gmail follow-up guide; test the behaviour you need with a mailbox you control.

Instantly lets you distribute a campaign across connected accounts. Its campaign guide recommends 30 campaign emails per account per day. That spreads work across mailboxes; it does not remove each provider’s rules or sending limits. Understand Gmail and Apps Script sending limits.

Choose OutreachSheet if this sounds like you

  • You have a list and a clear reason to contact each person.
  • One Google account is enough for the outreach you plan to send.
  • You want follow-ups, reply sorting and an evening report without another subscription.
  • You prefer a Google Sheet you own to a separate campaign platform.

One Gmail account. Your own list. One payment. If that covers your workflow, OutreachSheet is the simpler purchase.

Choose Instantly if this is the job

You manage several sending accounts or client campaigns, want mailbox rotation and warm-up, or need a lead-data and CRM ecosystem around the sending. In that setting, a hosted platform’s broader tools may be worth the recurring cost. Instantly does not require everyone to connect dozens of inboxes; that depends on the operation you are building.

Moving from a platform to a sheet

Bring an export of your contacts, rebuild your messages and follow-up delays, and carry over existing opt-outs before starting. OutreachSheet has no automatic import of Instantly’s campaign history. Preview the messages, keep test mode on for the first run and check a real test email before you contact the list.
